Growing up, I always felt that adults seemed to have amnesia about the discomfort of adolescence, or feelings in general, for that matter.  Because of this, I vowed to communicate clearly with others and create a nonjudgmental environment to identify what you want and wish for.  I thoroughly enjoy working with clients to clarify, articulate and achieve their goals.

After obtaining a dual Bachelor's degree in English and Psychology, I traded in the mountain west for the east coast, earning a Master’s Degree in Counseling from George Washington University.  I have worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in private practice for over twenty years.

As a LPC, I am a firm believer in constant personal and professional development.  I am a member of the Mid-Atlantic Group Psychotherapy Society (MAGPS), American Counseling Association (ACA) as well as The American Academy of Psychotherapists (AAP).

I enjoy assisting people to achieve success, balance and quality of life for themselves, which then impacts others around them.  There's no better satisfaction than contributing to and experiencing this ripple effect.
